Featuring built works
Borneo Convention Center Kuching (BCCK)
Designed by Arkitek KDI, the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) is an architectural tribute to the Sarawakian rainforest. Under the theme “Let’s meet under the trees,” the center features a signature free-flowing roof inspired by the Ririg leaf, supported by structural columns that mimic the forest canopy. This 36,500-square-meter landmark on Isthmus Island balances modern functionality with indigenous heritage, offering flexible, world-class event spaces that harmonize with the riverfront landscape.
Rimbunan Hijau Headquarters
RH Headquarters in Sibu is a landmark tribute to the Rimbunan Hijau Group’s origins along the Rajang River designed by Arkitek KDI. Inspired by the grace of a swan and the iconic presence of ‘Christ the Redeemer,’ the twin 12-storey towers serve as a symbolic gateway to the city. The design prioritizes the public realm with a riverfront promenade and amphitheater, while the sustainable, climate-responsive facade utilizes Low-E glass to harmonize global corporate vision with tropical sensibility.
