Featuring design projects and ideas in urban installation
Pearls of Wisdom
The 2026 Taoyuan Land Art Festival brought together artists and architects from 14 countries to create site-specific installations along Taiwan’s 35-kilometre Pearl Coast. Through collaboration, community engagement, and a deep response to the coastal landscape, the festival demonstrates how art can foster cultural dialogue, strengthen local identity, and leave a lasting legacy beyond the exhibition itself.
Cloud City
Cloud City is a cardboard art installation and co-creation workshop developed by INTODESIGN Lab and ArchiBlur Lab in Tainan, Taiwan. The project invited sixty children to collaboratively imagine and construct a shared urban environment through play, experimentation, and storytelling. Using lightweight cardboard as a spatial medium, the installation explored ideas of movement, connectivity, and future cities. Through collective making, Cloud City transformed simple materials into an evolving public landscape shaped by creativity, participation, and shared imagination.
