This proposal reinterprets the traditional market typology by reconnecting the relationship between street, people, and public life in Seri Kembangan. Inspired by the town’s historic street culture, the design extends surrounding pedestrian networks into a permeable market environment organised through layered public ground planes. Natural ventilation, visual connectivity, and flexible social spaces transform the market into an urban catalyst that strengthens community interaction, walkability, and connections between existing vendors, businesses, and future generations.
